Coordinator Position Available.



Position:

Events, Banqueting, Wedding and Conference Coordinator

Working hours:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and public holidays,

Responsibilities:

Ensure that weddings and functions are properly coordinated; originating weddings and functions; conducting site visits and sales; sending info packs; ensuring follow-up; liaising with Chef re menus and housekeeping re accommodation; closing booking and receipt of booking fee; liaison with internal and external parties prior to event to ensure hire ware is organised; ensure final payments made; arrange sufficient staff resources on hand for event; manage the staff during events and liaise with client/client's agent; close out event, manage breakdown and receive/provide feedback. 

Requirements:

Should be self-starter; previous experience as a function coordinator essential; hard-working; proven ability to manage teams, delegate and solve problems on the go. Must be fluent in MS Office suite. Strong communicator and confident highly organized and administrative skills.  Should be able to coordinate and execute the function on the day without supervision
